AUDI SALES STEAMING AHEAD

In keeping with the record global sales figures achieved by the Audi brand, Audi of South Africa has set yet another sales record for 2011.

The total vehicle market showed an improvement of 23.5% increase year on year, the premium vehicle market has grown by 7% year on year. Audi of South Africa posting an impressive 6% increase in vehicle sales, showing the determination of Audi to grow its premium share of the South African market.
 

Audi of South Africa reported record sales figures of 1 436 units for March 2011 that is an improvement of over 500 units from March 2010 and the biggest March month in the history of Audi in South Africa.

“The improvement in sales performance comes off the back of a superb team effort from the Audi Dealer network and Audi of South Africa team,” said Ryan Searle, Head of Audi in South Africa.

“The Audi A4 model range remains the stalwart of the Audi brand selling 488 units followed by an impressive performance of the Audi A1 at 299 units sold and 716 units sold year to date.” concluded Searle

With the ever growing trend of setting year on year and month on month sales records Audi is aiming to surpass 2006 as the best sales year ever in the South African market.
